The Department of Real Estate Ras-al-Khaimah organized a public auction of real estate at its headquarters. Several plots of land and houses located in various areas of the emirate were offered at the auction. One of the houses, available for families, was valued at 2.5 million dirhams during the auction. Bids were considered from local buyers present on site, as well as online bids through the Department's website. During the auction, the house was sold for a total of 3.1 million dirhams. As noted by one of the auction organizers, the sale of the family house attracted many buyers, and they were ready to compete for its acquisition. Such events help in resolving property disputes and also expedite the process of real estate sales.
